A blend of rare Balvenie is transferred to port casks, or pipes, that had previously housed great port wines to create this exceptional dram.

The Balvenie Malt Master routinely tastes it here to verify that the port casks have added exactly the appropriate amount of character, complementing and developing the single malt while keeping its unique traits.

Fruity and juicy sultana tones in a dry, nutty fragrance. It is creamy and silky on the palate, with aromas of fruit, honey, and spices. It is refined and has outstanding character. The finish is long, soft, and nutty.
