Craigellachie 17 Years 700ml

Craigellachie 17 is a classic example of the distillery’s unapologetic and distinct Whisky style, smooth and mellow in flavour with rich velvety overtones of exotic fruits, crafted from an uncommon blend of casks.

Craigellachie is the heart of Speyside, yet it’s not your average ‘Speyside’ whisky. Even in 1891, its fruity, muscular flavour was attributed to the employment of worm tub condensers. This rich, yet fragrant, personality defies expectations.

Initially aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry barrels. The ‘mix’ is then completed in first-fill Sherry casks with 50% finished in first-fill Bourbon casks. Craigellachie expressions are all non-chill filtered, free of caramel colouring, and bottled at 46% ABV.
