On the scent, there’s a cereal sweetness with undertones of rum spice, espresso coffee, toffee apples, and ginger. A delicate, malty palate with notes of salted butter, raisins from Corinth, walnut loaf, and coffee ice cream. The finish is lengthy and malty, with traces of sweet porridge on the tail.

The Glen Elgin Distillery was founded in 1898 and is located in the Speyside region. Glen Elgin creates a delightfully delicious, flavourful spirit that is popular among blenders using six stills and six wooden worm tubs. This is the 12-year-old expression, Glen Elgin’s only official distillery bottling, and it features the aforementioned fruit aromas as well as buttery vanilla and sweet spices.
