Mortlach 20 Years 700ml

A robust palate with an oily coating. Citrus aromas. The rich meatiness of BBQ pig crackling is opened up by hints of wood flavour. Berries, jam, and chocolate nibs offer a pop of colour. Deep and complex, with a finish of gingerbread, raisins, and a hint of liquorice.

This expression, the oldest of three Mortlach single malts released in mid-2018 (together with the Mortlach 12 Year Old and Mortlach 16 Year Old), was aged exclusively in sherry casks for 20 years. As we’ve come to expect from Mortlach, this is intensely flavourful stuff.
