Smooth, thick mouthfeel with citrus flavours that are complemented by chocolate, cherry, and spice undertones. The texture is soft, dry, and rounded. With the addition of water, a nice, nutty spiciness emerges, reminiscent of the cigar box found on the nose, with a cooling aftertaste.

Glendullan Distillery, the latest of seven distilleries established in Dufftown, was founded in 1897 by Aberdeen blenders William Williams and sons.

The Williams family gave Glendullan a good start in life by providing sound business advice and a private railway siding. So firm, in fact, that it required the barley shortages of WWII to put a stop to production – though the historic world event accounted for only a seven-year blip in the history of this extraordinary malt.
