Description

The terms “monovitigno” (which means “single-varietal” in Italian) and “gris” (which means “grey” in the Friulian dialect and refers to Pinot Grigio) are combined to form the name Mongris.

One of the most widely used white grape varietals in the Collio DOC today is pinot grigio. It has been a part of Friuli Venezia Giulia since the latter part of the 1800s.

Golden yellow hue with overtones of copper. It smells strong, with distinct notes of apple, broom, and acacia flower. It is a full-bodied wine, beautifully fruity, elegantly constructed, and leaves a lingering finish.

The Lion of Saint Mark, a monument to the great past of the historic town founded by the Most Serene Republic of Venice, is the symbol of the Company Marco Felluga in Gradisca d’Isonzo. Its vineyards are spread across the Collio in four distinct areas: Cormòns, Oslavia, San Floriano del Collio, and Farra d’Isonzo. These vineyards produce the high-quality red and white wines.
