Barone Ricasoli Brolio Chianti Classico 2022 750ml

Tuscany’s Ricasoli Brolio Chianti Classico is a magnificent Chianti Classico with a significant amount of Castello estate wine. Primarily composed of the Sangiovese grape, it boasts classic notes of spice, oak, and brambly, bitter cherry fruit.

This gorgeous wine boasts a deep ruby red colour, a fragrant fragrance that includes notes of vanilla, spicy spices, and tiny red fruit. Its flavour is harmonious and well-balanced with its tannins. The powerful persistence highlights this wine’s characteristic fresh and mineral aromas. The fermenting process occurs in stainless steel with 12–16 days of skin contact. After that, the wine is aged for a further three to six months in bottles and nine months in barriques and tonneaux. Brolio’s broad, complex structure makes it a superb wine in its category, successfully matching the superior drinkability that characterizes Chianti Classico in its young form.

For the ten centuries since they founded Brolio in 1141, the Barons Ricasoli have been there, and they have influenced the history of the Chianti Classico region and its wines. With 250 hectares under vine, it is the largest estate under the Chianti Classico appellation.
