A sleeper of the vintage, this is a lovely follow-up to their excellent 2009 in a far more difficult vintage. The wine is rich, medium-bodied, and ripe for a 2011, with decent underlying acidity and a significantly loaded, layered structure. It is deep, purple-hued, with a nose of mulberries, black currents, and cassis. Tannins are present, but they are nicely blended and ripe. Drink it over the following ten to twelve years.
