Description

Brilliant ruby red in colour. On the nose, there are smells of red fruits, rose, and tobacco. On the palate, the wine has a lengthy, savoury finish.

Tradition and devotion were the driving forces behind the establishment of the Fogliati farm. Spirito Zocca, a historic producer and exporter of Barolo in Argentina, held the land, which extends between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte, in 1800. Guido Fogliati purchased the estate in the early 1950s and has continued the operation.

At his death, the vineyards were still being cultivated, but production had ceased, and the grapes had been sold to major producers. Only in 2016 did the grandchildren Guido and Annalisa take over management of the land and the magnificent villa, which were completely renovated and converted to organic horticulture. And so, in the magnificent setting of Castiglione Falletto, overlooking the spectacular hills of the Langhe, a Unesco heritage site, a young and dynamic company was founded, dedicated to vineyard cultivation and the production of Barolo and Langhe Nebbiolo in full respect of the territory and tradition.
