San Giorgio Ugolforte Brunello Di Montalcino Magnum 2016 1.5L

This wonderful wine has a rich aroma of plummy black fruit, spices, and crushed flowers. The wine has a medium-weight mouthfeel, yet it packs a powerful punch thanks to its structure and compacted fruit.

Tenuta Giorgio was formed in 1982 and is located in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the south-east portion of Montalcino, in a unique location 400 meters above sea level on the summit of a ridge. The vineyards comprise 26 hectares, and there are 26 hectares of olive groves. The winery is located near Castelnuovo dell’Abate in Montalcino, close to the Sant’Antimo abbey.

Tenuta San Giorgio is a beautiful estate that is rapidly developing. Since the 2016 vintage, the winery has become the sister estate to Poggio di Sotto, and the two now share the same winemaking team as well as the consulting services of the uber-talented Federico Staderini.
