A deep golden tint with bronze lights. A slight nose prickle and a mild nose cool: overall, fresh and clean. The scent is rather tight, although with hints of toffee and lavender. Unreduced, the texture is mouth-filling; the flavour is sweet with a spicy finish that leaves the palette tingling. At reduced strength, the scent opens just slightly, with hints of oak shavings and Highland toffee. The texture is silky, and the flavour is sweet with hints of salt and spice. An easy-drinking malt.
